Besançon. Want a belvedere? Benches with a "private view"? It's time to vote!

The participatory budget is an envelope, or €250,000 per year, intended to finance investment projects proposed by the inhabitants of Besançon. This year, 35 proposals were selected and, as every year, they are submitted to the vote of the Besançon residents. The vote is entering its final stretch: there are only a few days left to choose your three favorite projects. Do you want defibrillators installed in the city parks? A belvedere built in Montboucons? An electric bike trailer provided to the Jeanne-Antide Boutique? Or perhaps the community should install "benches with privacy screens" in certain places that would offer "mothers more satisfactory comfort conditions during breastfeeding"? There is no shortage of ideas.
The Besançon Historique association, for example, proposes to "list" and "protect" the inscriptions left by fighters of the Liberation of Besançon which can be seen "in certain places on the Queen's patrol path at the Citadel".
In short, proposals and a vote, until June 11. To vote, simply go to the online platform atelierscitoyens.besancon . Don't like the web? Or do you find that the site isn't always very easy to use (we understand). No problem: the City is offering residents the opportunity to vote via mobile ballot boxes this Saturday, June 7, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Place du 8 Septembre. Some project leaders should even be present to discuss their proposals.
